drunky time

Ha ha.... world tour of beers, you are no match for me! woo!

On a separate-but-not-really-different note, I've had 68.1 ounces of good freakin' beer tonight. And I'll be on the December menu at the Coventry winking Lizard. Good stuff.

And I'm now filling in for a play, Chekov "The Bear", at Laurel School for which they needed one more guy because a guy quit. So I'm building set and acting. Huh. Fun times.

If you're in Cleveland, go see the Footlighters show this weekend...Little Shop of Horrors. http://footlighters.cwru.edu/ to reserve tickets.

i'm a little forgetful...

It's been a while and I've just remembered that I started this thing nearly a month ago. Hmm... I've been trying to get into barbershop music lately, and even started to write a short song--otherwise known as a bass line--trying to make it sound like barbershop. It's a lot more difficult than I thought.

Going to see Tartuffe with my recently-found friend Heather this Friday, looking forward to that. Dan saw it on Saturday and said it was really good, especially the set... Hoorah for carpenters.

I've had a couple days off lately, so I've been a) catching up on sleep lost during tech weeks; b) conspiring with Dan about renovating our kitchen; and c) attempting to clean my room--and inevitably getting sidetracked from the last one and doing a little too well with the first. So it goes.

Went into Case today to visit my old bosses from Housing...had lunch with them over in the Wade basement. What great guys. It's not too often you get to work for three guys like them--good times. Although I probably should've done a little better than a Rallyburger and spicy chicken sandwich for lunch. But hey, they're only a dollar.

Went over to Booty's last night, he and Nate are getting there apparently with the Footlighters show. Dan and I took some beer, and it occured to me: I don't remember the last time I drank just one beer. I always have multiple drinks. Hmmph. That's alright...moderation has never been one of my strong points.

got interviews?

I found out today that I got my first interview for a chemistry-related job, with PPG Industries, the big glass and coatings manufacturer out of Pittsburgh. Assuming I can work around the GLTF schedule (we're going into tech week for Hamlet as of Sunday), I'll interview for them at the Case career center next Tuesday.

Having heard back from one of these companies is somewhat reassuring. It seems as though everyone and their mothers want someone with experience and a B.S. degree, two of the things I don't have going for me. But I guess even a B.A. can get an job. Or at least an interview.

I should be getting paid tomorrow. It's been a long time since the last substantial paycheck, so that'll be nice.

Time to go to bed, even though I slept for about 3 hours earlier. I guess I was tired. But I'm still tired enough to be able to sle....Zzzzz....Zzzzz....
