good wine'n, good dine'n

made some good food tonight, and drank an entire bottle of wine. well, a 750. which is an entire bottle, i suppose, but a normal sized bottle. and mediterranean stuff and rice. I don't know what to call it. the wine was okay. the food was too spicy - which i blame on the olives I bought from the GE olive bar that were (without my knowing) stuffed with crushed red pepper flakes. holy cow. anyway.

CR follies starts in a 9 days. let's hope i'm ready. with any luck and some good rehearsal, i will be. in any case, give me a couple weeks before coming to see the show, y'all. kapiche?

workin' it LATE

so here I am, at 9:19 in the PM, still at work. And no where close to finishing anything. If only I knew centrifuging these samples was going to take hours and hours, i would have waited until tomorrow to do it. but if I did that, what I have planned for tomorrow wouldn't get done and then I'd have to wait another week for the FPLC to be available again. Argh.

c-rock and pics

the show is going well. i tend to forget things i'm supposed to do--things that the girls have pretty much engrained in their bodies from having performed for so long--things like, well, not suck so much. :o)

I don't really suck, i don't think, i'm just new at this. we're still planning on opening one of the two shows on 11/17 (the dinner show, Cabaret Rock Follies), but it looks like Cabaret Rock 60s, which takes the 10:30 Fri/Sat time slot won't start until after Thanksgiving, probably.

My mom's 50th birthday is 11/28, so she's planning on having a little shin-dig either 11/26 or 12/3, lasting most of the evening. Should be pretty fun!

Soon i'll have the web page back up with some pictures, but not nearly as many as I was trying to have before. (just realized I only have 25MB of space on home.cwru. my camera's media card holds 5x that. go figure...
